Sprouting Jar: Day 2

Amazing! After one day of soaking, rinsing, and draining, the little seeds are already coming to life. The tough green shell is now soft, and little white tendrils are starting to poke through. Fun!


It was a bit tough getting a good shot of the newly budding sprouts, but hopefully you can see the progress!



These mung bean seeds are supposed to be sprouted in the dark to avoid bitterness, and yet they continue to grow tucked away in our pantry. I can't wait to see how much they grow in the next day or so! Check back for updates!
